ACT Scores for Admission to Four-Year New Hampshire Colleges

Admissions standards for four-year colleges in New Hampshire vary from an extremely selective Ivy League college to a college with open admissions. You'll find some schools that want to see ACT scores that are well above average, while other schools don't require scores at all. The side-by-side comparison chart below shows ACT scores for the middle 50% of enrolled students. If your scores fall within or above these ranges, you're on target for admission. Keep in mind that 25% of enrolled students have scores below those listed.

Note that many New Hampshire colleges don't report ACT scores. The SAT is the more common exam in the Northeast, and in some cases over 90% of applicants submit SAT scores, not ACT scores. Remember that ACT scores are just one part of the application. The admissions officers in New Hampshire, especially at the top New Hampshire colleges, will also want to see a strong academic record, a winning essay, meaningful extracurricular activities and good letters of recommendation.
