Rhodes College is a private liberal arts college that occupies a 100-acre park-like campus located near downtown Memphis, Tennessee. Students come from 46 states and 15 countries. With a 10 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 13, Rhodes College offers its students lots of personal attention. Students can choose from 32 majors, and the college's strengths in the liberal arts and sciences earned it a chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa
Honor Society. Rhodes is one of the 40 colleges featured in Loren Pope's Colleges That Change Lives
, and it made my 2009 list of hidden gems
