A Photo Tour of the Ohio State University

For a continuously expanding university of well over 50,000 students, the Ohio State University has done an impressive job preserving green spaces on campus. Mirror Lake sits at the southwest corner of "The Oval" -- OSU's central green. During Beat Michigan Week, you just might find a bunch of students jumping into the lake's frigid waters.

In this photo, Pomerene Hall (left) and Campbell Hall (right) can be seen on the far side of the lake. Pomerene was originally the "Women's Building," and today it is used by the Office of Student Life. Campbell is an academic building which houses several departments within the College of Education and Human Ecology. You'll also find the Historic Costume and Textiles Collection in Campbell.
