George Fox University is one of the top colleges in Oregon and one of the highest ranked Christian colleges in the nation.
George Fox is a member of the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference, a group of nine selective private colleges which all rank in the first tier of U.S. News' National Liberal Arts Colleges or Regional University categories. The other members are Lewis & Clark College, Linfield College, Pacific Lutheran University, Pacific University, University of Puget Sound, Whitman College, Whitworth University, and Willamette University.

In the photo above, framed between the Wood-Mar Hall on the left and Hoover Academic Building on the right, the Centennial Tower rises above the academic quad. It is believed to be the final work of renowned architect Pietro Belluschi. The tower was constructed in 1991 to commemorate the 1891 founding of the college division. The college's forerunner, Friends Pacific Academy, was founded in 1885.
