Indiana is pretty evenly split when it comes to whether the SAT or ACT is more popular. Purdue, for example, receives more SAT scores, while Taylor students are more likely to submit ACT scores. Realize that standardized test scores are just one part of the application. For most of the colleges on this list, the admissions officers will also want to see a strong academic record, a winning essay, meaningful extracurricular activities and good letters of recommendation.

Click on the "see graph" links to the right to view a graph for each school that shows how other applicants did, and what their scores/grades were like. Some students with good scores were rejected, and some with low scores were accepted. This shows that the schools are looking at all parts of an application, and that test scores do not necessarily guarantee admission.

And be sure to check out the schools' profiles--just click on their names to view a comprehensive profile of admissions info, financial aid data, enrollment numbers, and a list of popular majors and athletics.
