Wilson College Description:

Wilson College is a private liberal arts college for women located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, a small town west of Harrisburg. The college has had connections to the Presbyterian church since its founding in 1869. Students can choose from 27 majors and 32 minors. Equestrian studies, education and veterinary medical technology are most popular, but strengths in the liberal arts and sciences earned Wilson a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. The college has made a niche for itself with both traditional and adult students, and single mothers can live year-round on campus with their children (20 months and older). Interested students should also check out Wilson's seven-acre Fulton Farm which uses organic methods to grow vegetables for the college and surrounding community. On the athletic front, the Wilson College Phoenix compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), within the Division III North Eastern Athletic Conference. Popular sports include basketball, golf, soccer, and track and field.
