Wheaton College is a private liberal arts college located in Norton, Massachusetts. The 400-acre campus has easy access to Boston, Providence, and Cape Cod. Students come from all 50 states and around 70 countries. Wheaton students can choose from more than 40 majors and 50 minors, and the college's curriculum is designed to challenge students to make connections between courses in different fields. Academics are supported by a 10 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 15 to 20. Student life is active with over 90 student clubs and organizations. On the athletic front, the Wheaton College Lyons compete in the NCAA Division III New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) for most sports. The college fields 21 intercollegiate teams. Popular sports include soccer, softball, lacrosse, and track and field.
