Western New England University Description:

Western New England University, previously Western New England College, is a private university in Springfield, Massachusetts. The campus is located on 215 sprawling acres in a residential neighborhood just a few minutes outside of downtown Springfield. Western New England University has an average class size of 20 students (22 for freshmen) and a student faculty ratio of 14 to 1. Academic programs at the university include more than 40 bachelor’s degrees as well as master’s, doctoral and professional degrees offered through the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering and Pharmacy and School of Law. Some of the more popular programs include law, accounting, psychology and sport management. Outside of class, students are involved in an array of campus events and activities, including more than 60 clubs and organizations. The WNE Golden Bears compete in 19 men’s and women’s varsity sports in the NCAA Division III Commonwealth Coast Conference and Eastern College Athletic Conference.
