Western Connecticut State University is a public university made up of four schools: the Ancell School of Business, the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Visual and Performing Arts, and the School of Professional Studies. The university has two campuses -- the 34-acre main campus in downtown Danbury, and the 364-acre Westside campus a few miles to the west. Westside is home to the business school, athletic facilities, and several residence halls. A university shuttle runs between the two campuses.
