Warner Pacific University Admissions Overview:

Warner Pacific University has an acceptance rate of 53%—those with good grades and a strong application still have a pretty good chance of being admitted. While the school does not appear to have reported SAT and ACT scores to the Department of Education, they do require either the SAT or ACT. Successful applicants tend to have standardized test scores that are average or better, and admitted students typically have a high school GPA in the "B" range or higher.

Founded in 1937, Warner Pacific University is a Christian liberal arts college with a main campus located in Portland, Oregon. The college is affiliated with the Church of God. The university's motto -- "in the city, for the city" -- reflects the school's urban setting and its service-oriented approach to personal growth. The 14.5-acre main campus borders Mt. Tabor Park in Southeast Portland. Students come from 18 states and 9 countries, and they represent 27 Christian denominations. Undergraduate students can choose from 27 majors, 29 minors and 4 pre-professional programs. Business and Human Development are the most popular fields. Academics are supported by an 11 to 1 student / faculty ratio. Roughly two-thirds of Warner Pacific's students are enrolled in the Adult Degree Program. Nearly all students receive financial aid, and the costs of Warner Pacific are lower than the majority of private colleges in the Northwest. In athletics, the Warner Pacific Knights compete in the NAIA Division II Cascade Collegiate Conference. The college fields five men's and six women's intercollegiate sports.
