The University of Washington at Bothwell is a young university that first began enrolling first-year students in 2006. The university is located 14 miles from downtown Seattle, and the majority of students come from the region. The campus is shared with Cascadia Community College. The area is home to a highly successful wetlands restoration project. The average undergraduate class size is 23 students, and the most popular majors are in profession and technical fields such as business, computing and nursing. The university is proud of its interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial learning environment.
