University of Northern Colorado Description:

The University of Northern Colorado is a public university located on a 260-acre campus in Greeley, Colorado, a small city about an hour north of Denver. Students come from 38 states and five countries, and undergraduates can choose from over 100 Bachelor's degree programs. Interdisciplinary studies, business and nursing are among the most popular majors. At the graduate level, education is quite strong. Academics are supported by a 20 to 1 student / faculty ratio. Student life is active, and the university has numerous fraternities and sororities. In athletics, the Northern Colorado Bears compete in the NCAA Division I Big Sky Conference.
