University of North Dakota Description:

Located in Grand Forks, the University of North Dakota is the oldest university in the state, and it is the state's primary center for professional education and training. UND students come from all 50 states and more than 50 countries, and they explore one of the 202 fields of study offered by the university. Aviation studies are popular at UND, and the school operates a small campus at Grand Forks International Airport. For strengths in liberal arts and sciences, the school was awarded a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. In athletics, the UND Fighting Sioux compete mostly in the NCAA Division I Great West Conference.
