University of Findlay Description:

The University of Findlay is a private university located in Findlay, Ohio. The tree-lined 72-acre campus is immersed in the small-town life of Findlay, which has been named one of the top 100 communities for young people for its culture and prosperity. The university is within just a few hours of several of Ohio’s major metropolitan areas including Toledo, Cleveland and Akron. Findlay has a student faculty ratio of 15 to 1. Undergraduate students can choose from nearly 60 majors, and the university also offers eight master’s programs and doctorates in pharmacy and physical therapy. The most popular academic programs are animal science/pre-veterinary medicine, equestrian studies, pharmacy, business and education. Students participate in a variety of extracurricular activities on campus, including more than 100 clubs and organizations and an active intramural athletic program. The University of Findlay Oilers compete in the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Popular sports include soccer, football, track and field, and swimming.
