University of Colorado Denver Description:

UCD, the University of Colorado Denver, is one of the three institutions that make up the University of Colorado system. Over 80% of students come from Colorado. The university offers 119 programs through its 13 schools and colleges. The university frequently ranks well among public universities in the west, and the health and biological fields are particularly strong. At the undergraduate level, business and nursing are the most popular majors. Students can participate in any of the more than 100 clubs and organizations. The university has many athletic facilities but does not compete in an NIAI or NCAA conference.
