The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa is the state's flagship institution of higher learning. Alabama's low state tuition combined with UA's consistent ranking among the top 50 public universities in the country make it a true value. The popular undergraduate business program also finds itself on many top 50 lists, and UA's strengths in the liberal arts and sciences have earned it a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
