Located on a 150-acre campus in Houston, Texas, Texas Southern University is one of the largest historically Black universities in the country. The school is easy walking disatance from the University of Houston. The university is made up of ten schools and colleges, and students can choose from 53 bachelor's degree programs. Professional fields such as business, criminal justice and health are popular among undergraduates. At the graduate level, Texas Southern has robust law and pharmacy programs.
