St. Catherine University (formerly called the College of St. Catherine) is a private Catholic university for women located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The school has a second campus in Minneapolis. St. Kate's frequently ranks highly among master's-level universities in the Midwest. Professional areas of study such as business, education and health are the most popular among undergraduates. The university has an 12 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 20. In athletics, the St. Kate Wildcats compete in the NCAA Division III Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
