Spring Hill College Description:

Founded in 1830, Spring Hill College has the distinction of being the oldest Catholic college in the Southeast. The Jesuit college has a liberal arts focus, and Spring Hill frequently ranks well among southern colleges for both its academics and value. Students come from 37 states, and over half of students come from outside of Alabama. The attractive 381-acre campus is located in Mobile, Alabama, and several buildings are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. On the academic front, undergraduates can choose from 40 majors from which business and nursing are the most popular. Academics are supported by a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 18. In athletics, the Spring Hill Badgers compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The college fields 13 intercollegiate sports.
