Saint Thomas Aquinas College Description:
Saint Thomas Aquinas College is an independent liberal arts college located in Sparkill, New York. The college was founded in 1952 by the Dominican Sisters. Sitting just a few miles off the coast of the Hudson River, the 48-acre campus in the Rockland County area is less than an hour north of New York City. STAC has a student faculty ratio of 17 to 1 and offers nearly 50 undergraduate majors as well as several master’s degree programs and post-master’s certificates in business administration and education. For undergraduate students, the most popular areas of study are social sciences, childhood and special education, communication arts and psychology. Students at STAC are involved in an array of campus activities, including more than 40 athletic, social, cultural and other special-interest clubs and organizations. The Saint Thomas Aquinas College Spartans compete in the NCAA Division II East Coast Conference.
