Saint Martin's University Description:

Saint Martin's University is a private Benedictine Roman Catholic university located in Lacey, Washington, just east of Olympia. Seattle is an hour away, and the college's 380-acre campus provides ready access to skiing, hiking, boating and other outdoor activities. Most Saint Martin's students come from Washington, but the student body represents 15 states and 18 countries. About 50% are Catholic. Students can choose from 21 majors, and the university offers study-abroad programs in 18 countries. Saint Martin's prides itself on the meaningful interactions between faculty and students -- the school has a low student / faculty ratio of 10 to 1, and the average class size is just 12. In athletics, the Saint Martin's Saints compete in the NCAA Division II Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
