Robert Morris University's 230-acre campus sits just 15 miles from downtown Pittsburgh in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Undergraduates can choose from 60 degree programs spread across five schools: the School of Business, School of Communications and Information Systems, School of Education and Social Sciences, School of Engineering, Mathematics and Science, and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. As the schools suggest, Robert Morris specializes in career-oriented preprofessional programs. Business fields are the most popular among undergraduates. Academics are supported by a 15 to 1 student faculty ratio, and an average class size of 22. The university takes pride in the number of students who complete internships as well as the high percentage of students who find jobs or are admitted to graduate school upon graduation. On the athletic front, the Robert Morris Colonials compete in the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference for all sports except hockey, which competes in the College Hockey American Conference.
