Point Loma Nazarene University is a Christian liberal arts college located on the coast of San Diego, California. The picturesque campus sits adjacent to San Diego’s Sunset Cliffs, a stretch of natural coastal bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The university is just a few miles outside downtown San Diego and less than an hour north of Tijuana, Mexico. PLNU has a 13 to 1 student faculty ratio and offers over 60 undergraduate degrees as well as seven graduate programs. Popular undergraduate areas of study include business administration, nursing, psychology and kinesiology, while education is by far the most popular graduate degree program. Students are active socially and spiritually on campus. The university offers a variety of student clubs and activities as well as a number of religious worship and ministry opportunities. The Ponit Loma Nazarene University Sea Lions compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
