Philadelphia University Description:

Philadelphia University is a private university located in the East Falls section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The park-like 100-acre campus is situated 15 minutes northwest of downtown Philadelphia in a largely residential area but with easy access to the city’s wide range of cultural and historical attractions and opportunities. Additionally, the campus is just over an hour from Atlantic City, New Jersey and less than two hours from New York City. The university has a 14 to 1 student faculty ratio and offers 36 undergraduate majors and 19 master’s and doctoral degrees. Architecture, fashion merchandising and graphic design communication are the most popular undergraduate programs, and the business administration and physician assistant programs are popular within the graduate school. Student life at Philadelphia University is active with more than 80 clubs and organizations including five fraternities and sororities. The Philadelphia University Rams compete in the NCAA Division II Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
