Oklahoma City University Description:

Oklahoma City University is a private university affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The 104-acre urban campus is situated in the heart of the midtown district of Oklahoma City, minutes from many of the city’s educational, cultural and recreational attractions. Academically, OCU has a student faculty ratio of 11 to 1 and average class sizes of 17 students for freshman classes and 13 for upperclassmen. There are upwards of 60 undergraduate majors for students to choose from in addition to 12 graduate degree programs. The most popular undergraduate majors include nursing, general studies, acting and dance performance. Business administration and teaching English as a second language are popular graduate programs. Student life is active with over 60 student-led clubs and organizations including six fraternities and sororities. The Oklahoma City Stars compete in the NAIA Sooner Athletic Conference. The university fields seven men's, eight women's, and two coed intercollegiate sports.
