Notre Dame de Namur University Description:

Notre Dame de Namur University, formerly known as the College of Notre Dame, is a private Catholic university located in Belmont, California. It is the fifth-oldest college in California and the first in the state to offer baccalaureate degrees to women. The 50-acre campus is situated in the San Francisco Bay Area, just a few miles off the coast of the Pacific Ocean and less than 30 miles from both San Francisco and San Jose. The university has a student faculty ratio of 12 to 1, and it offers 22 undergraduate and 12 graduate degrees, as well as several certificate programs. Business administration, human services and psychology are all popular undergraduate areas of study, while the most popular graduate programs are business administration, public administration and marriage and family therapy. Beyond academics, students are active in campus life, participating in over 30 clubs and activities. The NDNU Argonauts compete in the NCAA Division II Pacific West Conference.
