Northwestern College is a private Christian college affiliated with the Reformed Church in America. Students come from 36 states and 17 countries. The 100-acre campus is located in Orange City, Iowa. The town of 6,000 is within an hour of Sioux City and Sioux Falls. The college takes its Christian identity seriously, and the learning environment weaves together a search for God's truth with traditional coursework. Students can choose from over 40 majors, 16 pre-professional programs, and 6 career concentrations. Business and education fields are most popular. Academics are supported by a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio. The college frequently ranks well among baccalaureate colleges in the Midwest.
