Northern Arizona University Description:

Founded in 1899, Northern Arizona University can boast that it is closer to the Grand Canyon than any other university. The attractive 738-acre campus is located in Flagstaff, Arizona, and the school also has many satellite campuses. Students come from 50 states and 70 countries, and they can choose from 95 undergraduate degree programs. Education and business are both extremely popular among undergraduates. The university has a 19 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 30. In athletics, the NAU Lumberjacks compete in the NCAA Division I Big Sky Conference.
