North Central College Description:

North Central College is a comprehensive, private liberal arts college located on a 62-acre campus in Naperville, Illinois. Downtown Chicago is less than 30 miles away. Benedictine University is just a few miles east of the campus. Founded as Plainfield College in 1861, North Central today offers over 55 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Business and education are most popular. Academics are supported by a 15 to 1 student / faculty ratio. The school ranks well both regionally and nationally for its overall quality and value. The great majority of students receive some form of grant aid. North Central College's students represent 32 states and 27 countries, and student life is active with over 60 clubs and organizations. On the athletic front, the North Central Cardinals compete in the NCAA Division III College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin. The college fields 11 men's and 11 women's intercollegiate sports. North Central College is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
