North Carolina A&T Description:

NC A&T, the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, is a historically black university located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Founded in 1891, the university is today one of the 16 institutions that make up the University of North Carolina system. The university offers 117 undergraduate degree programs and 58 master's degree programs through its nine schools and colleges. Among undergraduates, mass communications, psychology, and business are the most popular majors. Classes are supported by a 16 to 1 student / faculty ratio. High achieving students should look into the NC A&T Honors Program for many a range of perks on both the academic and student life front. On the athletic front, the NC A&T Aggies compete in the NCAA Division I Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). The university fields five men's and 8 women's Division I teams.
