Newbury College Description Newbury College is an independent, career-focused liberal arts college located in Brookline, Massachusetts. The scenic 10-acre suburban campus is less than 4 miles from downtown Boston, just a short train ride from a number of cultural and entertainment destinations. Academically, Newbury has a student faculty ratio of 16 to 1 and an average class size of 18 students. The college offers five associate’s degrees and 16 bachelor’s degree programs.
