Muhlenberg College Description:

Located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Muhlenberg College is a selective, private four-year college that has had ties to the Lutheran Church since its founding in 1848. The college has 40 majors, and it leverages its 12 to 1 student / faculty ratio to create lots of opportunities for interaction between students and their professors. While some of Muhlenberg's most popular programs are in pre-professional areas, the school's strengths in the liberal arts and sciences earned it a chapter of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor society. In athletics, the Muhlenberg Mules compete in the NCAA Division III Centennial Conference. The college fields ten men's and ten women's intercollegiate sports, and Muhlenberg also has a co-ed varsity cheerleading team.
