Mount Saint Mary College Description:

Mount Saint Mary College is a private Catholic liberal arts college in Newburgh, New York. The scenic 70-acre campus is located in the Hudson Valley overlooking the western banks of the Hudson River. Newburgh offers a lively waterfront scene and is just over an hour from New York City by train. On the academic front, the Mount has an average class size of 21 students and a student / faculty ratio of 15 to 1. Students can choose from 47 undergraduate programs, and the college offers master’s degrees in education, business and nursing. The most popular undergraduate majors are nursing, history, psychology and business management and administration. The Mount also offers collaboration programs with several New York City colleges for motivated students to earn their bachelor’s degree plus a master’s or doctoral degree. Students are active on campus and participate in more than 30 clubs and organizations. The Mount Saint Mary College Blue Knights compete in the NCAA Division III Eastern College Athletic Conference and the Skyline Conference.
