Moody Bible Institute Admissions Overview:

With an acceptance rate of 62%, Moody Bible College is a generally open school. To apply, students will need to submit an application, which can be completed online. In addition, prospective students will need to send in a few personal essays, three letters of reference, SAT or ACT scores, and high school transcripts. Moody Bible Institute is an evangelical Christian college with an emphasis on religious education. The main campus is located in Near North Side of Chicago, Illinois, adjacent to the central business district and immersed in the city’s rich and diverse culture. Moody is also the parent institution of two branch campuses, an undergraduate institution in Spokane, Washington and a seminary and graduate school in Plymouth, Michigan. Academics at Moody are religiously focused, with popular undergraduate majors in areas including biblical studies, divinity and religious education. In addition to its ten religious programs, Moody offers undergraduate majors in communication studies, teaching English as a second language and aviation technology. Graduate students can choose from seven programs, including master’s degrees in divinity and theological studies. Students are involved in a variety of spiritual, leadership, service and cultural activities on and off campus, and the Moody Archers compete in Division II of the National Christian College Athletic Association. Popular sports include basketball, soccer, volleyball, and track and field.
