Montana State University Billings Description:

Founded in 1927, Montana State University Billings is a four-year, public institution of about 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students supported by a student/faculty ratio of 19 to 1. The 110-acre campus is located in Billings, the largest city in Montana. MSU offers a wide range of academic programs including 27 Associate degrees, 28 Bachelor’s degrees, 17 Master’s degrees, and 12 Certificates of Applied Science. These degrees are offered through the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Allied Health Professions, Education, Business, and City College. The university is also proud of its international and study abroad programs. For fun on campus, MSU has a long list of student clubs and organizations including the Billings Paranormal Activity Society, the Potter’s Guild, and a variety of intramural sports. For intercollegiate athletics, the MSU Yellowjackets compete in the NCAA Division II Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) for sports including men’s and women’s golf, cross country, and tennis.
