Mercy College Description:
Mercy College is a private, four-year college in Dobbs Ferry, New York, with additional locations in Bronx, Manhattan, and Yorktown Heights. Mercy students can choose from a variety of student clubs and organizations, intramural sports, and intercollegiate athletics. The Mercy College Mavericks compete in the NCAA Division II East Coast Conference. The college fields 10 varsity sports. On the academic front, Mercy has a strong health professions program as well as 90+ other degree options. The college offers over 200 classes and 25 degree courses online. Academics are supported by an 18 to 1 student / faculty ratio. Mercy has an active honors program that issues a laptop computer to every student. Honors students also have smaller than average class sizes and priority registration.
