Marymount University Description:

Marymount University is a private Catholic university located in Arlington, Virginia. It is a member of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area, allowing students to cross-register at 13 other local institutions. Just 15 minutes outside of Washington, D.C., the 21-acre suburban main campus provides a quiet, peaceful setting with easy access to the opportunities of the nation’s capital (explore other colleges in the D.C. area). The university’s facilities also include a satellite campus a few miles from the main campus and a center for adult learning in Reston, Virginia. Marymount offers more than 30 undergraduate degrees, including popular programs in nursing, business administration, interior design and fashion merchandising. The graduate program offers more than 20 master’s degrees in several areas of education, business, technology, health sciences and psychology and doctoral programs in nursing and physical therapy. Students participate actively in campus life, with more than 30 clubs and organizations. The Marymount Saints compete in the NCAA Division III Capital Athletic Conference.
