Mansfield University of Pennsylvania is a public, four-year university located in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles from Corning, New York. It supports about 3,000 students with a healthy student/faculty ratio of 19 to 1. MU offers more than 70 graduate and undergraduate programs across a wide range of academic fields. Popular majors include Business Administration, Nursing, Education, and Music. Students at MU balance their classwork with participation in numerous clubs and organizations including such interesting ones as the MU Paranormal Society, the MU Bass Fishing Team, and the MU Muggle Quidditch Association. The university also has plenty of intramural sports such as Wallyball, Racquetball, and Wiffle Ball. When it comes to intercollegiate athletics, the Mansfield University Mountaineers compete in the NCAA Division II Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with five men’s and seven women’s teams. Popular sports include basketball, softball, swimming, and track and field.
