Lyndon State College Description

Located in the Northeast Kingdom in Vermont, Lyndon State College is a public college with a focus on both the liberal arts and professional study. Outdoor lovers will love the campus's close proximity to excellent skiing, hiking, climbing, and kayaking. The hill-top campus has a stunning view of Burke Mountain and the surrounding woodlands and farmland. The college values hands-on learning, and professional programs in fields such as business, human services, and television studies are popular among undergraduates. Academics are supported by a 14 to 1 student/faculty ratio. Student life is active with over 25 clubs and organizations. In athletics, the Lyndon State Hornets compete in the NCAA Division III North Atlantic Conference. The college fields six men's and six women's intercollegiate sports.
