Livingstone College Description:

Livingstone College is a private, four-year, African Methodist Episcopal Zion college located in Salisbury, North Carolina. It is on the smaller side, with a student population of just over 1,000 and a student/faculty ratio of 16 to 1. Livingstone has a long list of campus organizations, including social/civic organizations, honor societies, and campus ministries. They are also a member of the NCAA Division II Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) with a variety of sports. Livingstone offers weekend and evening courses in criminal justice, birth-kindergarten education, religious studies, elementary education, and business administration. Livingstone also has an impressive honors program and is one of 105 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) in the nation. They are currently implementing a Center for Holistic Learning program, and working to make Livingstone "The Total Learning Environment."
