Limestone College Description:

Established in 1845, Limestone College is a private non-denominational Christian liberal arts college located in Gaffney, South Carolina. Greenville and Charlotte are both within a 45-minute drive. The college also offers evening courses at its Extended Campus locations in seven other cities. The college offers nearly 40 majors. Business is by far the most popular area of study. Students tend to be highly involved in campus life, and the college supports dozens of student clubs and organizations. Sports are big at Limestone. The Limestone College Saints compete in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division II Conference Carolinas. The college fields 11 men's and 12 women's intercollegiate sports. Popular sports include football, basketball, track and field, soccer, and lacrosse. Finally, a piece of Limestone trivia: the wonderfully awful 1980 horror movie Final Exam was filmed on the Limestone campus.
