Lewis University Description:

Lewis University is a private, Roman Catholic university in the Lasallian tradition. Its main campus, a picturesque 376-acre facility, is located in Romeoville, Illinois, just 30 minutes southwest of the bustling metropolis of Chicago. The university also has five regional campuses in Chicago, Oak Brook, Tinley Park, Hickory Hills and Shorewood as well as a recently launched satellite campus located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lewis has a student faculty ratio of 13 to 1, ensuring individual attention is given to each student. As one of the state’s larger four-year private institutions, the university offers more than 80 undergraduate majors, 25 master’s programs and a doctorate in educational leadership. Some of Lewis’s more popular areas of study include business administration, criminal justice and aviation. Lewis has rich and diverse student life opportunities with more than 100 clubs and organizations for students to join. The Lewis University Flyers field 18 men’s and women’s teams in the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference. Popular sports include volleyball, basketball, baseball, soccer, and track and field.
