Lewis-Clark State College Description

Lewis-Clark State College is a public institution located in Lewiston, Idaho, just a few blocks from the confluence of the Clearwater and Snake rivers. The majority of students hail from Idaho, but 30 countries and 30 states are represented in the student body. The college was established in 1893 as a teacher training school, and today Lewis-Clark has primary foci in business, nursing, criminal justice, social work, teacher education, and professional-technical education. The college awards bachelor's and associate's degrees, and academics are supported by an 18 to 1 student/faculty ratio. Outside of the classroom, students can choose from dozens of clubs, organizations, and activities. On the athletic front, the Lewis-Clark State College Warriors and Lady Warriors compete in the NAIA Frontier Conference. The college fields five men's and six women's intercollegiate sports. The baseball team has won numerous national championships.
