Le Moyne College is a private Catholic (Jesuit) college offering both bachelor's and master's degrees in a range of professional areas and fields in the liberal arts and sciences. Undergraduates can choose from over 30 academic programs. The college also has graduate programs in nursing, education, business and physician assistant studies. Academics at Le Moyne are supported by a healthy 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 22. The attractive 160-acre campus is located on the eastern edge of Syracuse, New York. Syracuse University is about two miles away. Students come from 29 states and 30 foreign countries. Le Moyne is a largely residential college with a wide range of student clubs, organizations and activities. On the athletic front, the Le Moyne Dolphins compete in the NCAA Division II Northeast-10 Conference. The college fields eight men's and nine women's intercollegiate sports, and the school has won several national championships and produced more than 100 All-American and All-Conference athletes.
