Langston University Description:

Langston University is a public, four-year university located in Langston, Oklahoma. Founded as Oklahoma’s only historically Black university, Langston has a student body of about 2,500 supported by a student/faculty ratio of 17 to 1. The university offers a host of academic programs across its schools of Business, Physical Therapy, Arts and Sciences, Education and Behavioral Sciences, Nursing and Health Professions, and Agriculture and Applied Sciences. For high-achieving students, Langston is also home to the McCabe Honors Program. Study abroad programs are available through the Langston University Center for International Development (LUCID). Students keep themselves occupied outside of the classroom through a range of intramural athletics as well as a variety of student clubs and organizations. Langston competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Red River Athletic conference. Intercollegiate teams include basketball, track, football, and softball.
