Landmark College Description:

Landmark is a private liberal arts college located in Putney, Vermont. Historically a two-year college, Landmark launched a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies program in 2012. With its small size and student/faculty ratio of 6 to 1, Landmark offers a remarkably individualized educational experience. The truly unique aspect of Landmark is its mission: to create learning strategies and an effective educational environment for those with learning disabilities, ADHD, and ASD. They were the first college to establish college-level studies designed for students with dyslexia, and they continue to provide support and resources to students who have different ways of learning. The personalized approach, along with an encouraging community, gives every student at Landmark an equal opportunity and the chance to learn their own way. For those with a wild side, Landmark has Adventure Education Classes, with courses like "Wilderness First Aid" and "Introduction to Rock Climbing." Landmark has a variety of student clubs and organizations as well as a host of intramural sports and athletic programs.
