King’s College Description:

Located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, King’s College is a Catholic liberal arts college established in 1946 by the Congregation of the Holy Cross. The downtown campus sits along the Susquehanna River, and the nearby Pocono Mountains offer year-round outdoor activities. King’s College is situated within a few hours of several major cities including New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. On the academic front, the college has a 14 to 1 student faculty ratio and an average class size of 18 students. King’s College offers 35 undergraduate majors in addition to 10 pre-professional programs and seven special concentrations. The most popular areas of study include accounting, business administration, elementary education and criminal justice. The college provides a number of opportunities for students to become involved on campus, with 50 student clubs and organizations. The King’s College Monarchs compete in the NCAA Division III Middle Atlantic Conference.
