IUPUI Admissions Overview:

IUPUI has an acceptance rate of 74%--the majority of students who apply are admitted. As part of the application, students can admit scores from either the SAT or ACT--both are accepted. IUPUI Description:

IUPUI, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, as the name suggests, was established by a partnership between Indiana University and Purdue University. Since the school first opened its doors in the late 1960s, it has grown into a large and well regarded public university. In 2011 the university ranked highly in the U.S. News & World Report list of "up and coming" universities. The strength of IUPUI's students and programs has increased significantly in recent years. The university offers more than 250 degree programs, and among undergraduates business and nursing are both extremely popular. Academics are supported by a 19 to 1 student / faculty ratio. The school's first-year experience program, learning communities and service learning initiatives have all received national recognition. On the athletic front, the IUPUI Jaguars compete in the NCAA Division I Summit League. The university fields six men's and eight women's Division I teams.
