Since its founding in 1892, Ithaca College has made a name for itself through its music and communications programs. The college has an enviable location in Ithaca, New York, overlooking Cornell University and Cayuga Lake. The area is known for its wineries, dramatic gorges and stunning fall foliage. Students will find a wide range of majors through Ithaca's broad curriculum and five schools. The school can boast of many high profile alums in broadcasting and music. On the athletic front, the Ithaca College Bombers compete in the NCAA Division III Empire 8 Athletic Conference. The college fields eleven men's and thirteen women's intercollegiate sports.
