IPFW Admissions Overview:

With an acceptance rate of 93%, IPFW is accessible to almost all applicants. Students with good grades and solid test scores have a good chance of being accepted. Interested students can apply using the Common Application, which can save time and energy for those applying to multiple schools. Additional materials required for an application include high school transcripts and scores from the SAT or ACT.

IPFW Description:

IPFU, Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, was established in 1964 as a collaboration between Indiana University and Purdue University. The university has grown significantly since its founding, and today it is the largest university in northeastern Indiana. The 682-acre campus sits along the banks of the St. Joseph River. The majority of IPFU students come from Indiana, and the university serves the needs of students with other work commitments. About one-third of students are part-time. IPFU offers over 200 programs of study, and among undergraduates, business and elementary education are particularly popular. Academic programs are supported by an 18 to 1 student / faculty ratio. In athletics, the IPFU Mastodons compete in the NCAA Division I Summit League. The university fields seven men's and eight women's Division I teams.
